Basic Life Support - BLS

CPR for healthcare professionals and medical office staff.

Adult, child, infant (3-4 hours, no first aid)


Basic Life Support is a CPR course designed for healthcare professionals who may perform CPR in a variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings or as part of a resuscitation team.


Nurses at all levels, Hygienists, Pharmacists, EMTs, Doctors, etc.


This course covers adult child and infant, CPR, AED (defibrillator) and choking. You will practice bag-valve mask ventilations, rescue breathing, two rescuer CPR, CPR with an advanced airway, and you will take an easy to pass written test. There is no first aid in a BLS class. A two year American Heart Association e-card certification will be issued.

This is not a "sit in a circle" CPR class. CPR Central teaches professional grade, lecture and skills based courses with paramedic and RN instructors, using clean, professional equipment.


Most local hospitals, care facilities, industrial and service business use CPR Central to train their staff. The course is fun, low pressure, clean, and very informative.
